Feed, water, walk. My schedule has since generally been, 15-20 minutes walk in the morning, 30-60 in the afternoon, and out to pee before bed. Dave needs much less activity due to hip condition. Dave has leash and fence reactivity. When we see another dog on our walks, I get his attention and have him 'heal up' by my side at least 6 ft from the other dog. If he waits patiently he gets a treat, if he barks or lunges I put on his muzzle (he has never bitten another dog. His femur was broken when he was a puppy and seems to be dealing with anxiety and chronic pain since.) Pickle is the alpha. She often will react protectively when Dave reacts. They are very excitable when meeting new people, and still working on not jumping on people. But they are very loving and chill within 5-10 minutes.
